When Discover launched their On Us Pricing Program, they turned to the creative motion design experts at Designing World to build a video illustrating the innovative new endeavor. Combining animated infographics, city scenes, and in-depth interviews with merchants, the video focuses on the idea of Discover as an interconnected global network, represented by sweeping shots of cityscapes, streets, crowds, and shopping areas. The vibrant and “zoomed-out” chaos of these visuals is contrasted by the simple message of the On US program: zero transaction fees. This simplicity is represented by minimal and graceful motion elements and key text treatments. Testimonials from two merchants completes the story, reinforcing the personal connections that the Discover acceptance network represents.
