InfoTech Law Advocates is a one-stop shop for actionable IT law advice. Designing World was approached to help bring this big idea to life though the creation of everything from branding strategies and print collateral to website development, social media marketing, and beyond.

Information Advocates

InfoTech Law Advocates is designed to provide small to mid-size IT businesses with affordable and actionable legal advice. Many of these companies wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to retain legal counsel, so ITLA provides an extremely valuable and flexible service within the IT industry.

In designing ITLA’s logo and branding strategy, the team at Designing World recommended playing up the personal angle, drawing inspiration from ITLA’s accessibility and expertise. This would help ITLA stand out from the crowd of traditional and often outdated branding systems employed by most law firms, positioning ITLA as a truly cutting-edge service provider.

The DW explored a variety of ideas, touching on geometric representations of technology and versatility, before landing on the final logo, an elegant wordmark built from faceted triangles.

The Business of Law

The triangular branding system allows for an incredible range of applications, from print collateral to dynamic web functionality and beyond. This all begins with ITLA’s business cards, which incorporate a combination of striking photography, beautiful typography, and dramatic interpretations of the ITLA triangular motif.

Legal Development

The design and development teams at Designing World worked in close collaboration to build a fully-customized and totally responsive website for ITLA. The process began with suggestions for content organization and navigation strategies, focusing on getting the site’s visitors the legal advice they need as quickly and effectively as possible. To that end, the site incorporates a great deal of elegant white space, contrasted by the use of red to define interactive elements.

Social Strategies

In tandem with the design and development of ITLA’s site, the Designing World team built a complete suite of imagery for ITLA’s rapidly growing social media presence, incorporating custom designs for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and more.
